I was going to ask the same thing because I have found that using powders slower than IMR7828SC cause vel. decrease. The 243 case just isn't big enough to use the slower powders

I'm getting 2925 from a 24" Douglas barrel. I tried IMR 4831, but found pressure signs well before 2900 fps. I have not tried IMR 4350, but might in the future. I may also give RL19 a test run.

That Retumbo charge is very compressed, but it seems to be consistent. I found that ES went down (tighter vertical spread at extreme range) with CCI 250 magnum primers.

I do have some 107 SMK's I'm going to try. I don't know if I can get them above 2900 fps with my barrel or not, but it'll be interesting...

i'm getting 3000+ out of my 24" rem barrel with the 105's, they seem to be great so far. (47gr. H-1000) i'm going to try h-414 tomorrow
