What case are you using,what primer , are you Jumping them Barnes 50 thousands or Getting to close to your rifles throat .

It's a savage 11. I would think the same thing but I have tried probably 6 or more other bullets in this gun with no real issuesI'm baffled , what rifle ,custom ,factory , thks overly tight chamber .

The new loading data for the 80g bullet doesn't even list either 4350 as tested. Closest powder to 4350 burn rate is RL17, slightly slower on the tables but not by much,View attachment 148316 This is the load info that I got from Barnes
Another test at Hodgdon.
Select 243 win. IMR 4350 . Bullet "any" .
Note the maxium powder charges for 8 different bullet.
