I got a box of these to experiment a little bit. See how they are for accuracy and performance out to 500 yards anywyas. I also picked up some H-4831. Does anyone have any load data or good loads that they would like to share with those particular ingredients? I read in the Sierra book where this 85g Sierra should shoot as accurately as there 70g matchking. The BC is not very high though, I'm worried about accuracy at longer range past 300 yards? If it gives good accuracy and dramatics at 500-600 yards, I will use it for squirrels on up to mule deer. Thanks.

06, I tried that bullet in my 6mmRem. about 14yrs. ago, and every group(20)I shot was 3/4moa from 100 and 200yds., that was with IMR4350 and a 6-18 Simmons scope, Now, that same 6mm shoots 75gr Sierras with H4895, Burris scope and HS stock, 3/8-5/8moa out to 200yds. That 85gr is a consistant bullet, you should be able to keep it under 4" at 500, Jay

06,
Like I said in the other thread, they are a good bullet. Never used 4831 but had great results with 4350 and Varget. 3/4 to 1/2 in a factory Remmy, sub 1/4 in the Ackley I built for my wife.

Like Chris said above, it is a consistent bullet. I have worked up loads in the past with H4350 and Varget, but 4831 is a little too slow for the 85 grainer...
