Hey Guys,
Just wondering what people are running on their freebores for 22 Creedmoor.
I only run up to 75s.

I hear 0.06"-0.08" is about Saami spec.
Some people run up to 0.130 though, and have seen some drawings up to 0.167.

I have a print ready to go but can't decide on freebore. Any help here. I'm never going to shoot a 95er.
Any hints and tips/ Ideas.
Thanks team.

There is no SAAMI standard for the 22 Creed, as it has not been 'standardized'. I'd have to figure it out for myself. Neck down the case, seat the bullet desired, make the freebore measurement.

Need your (base to ogive)-boat tail length measurement for your bullet.

based on the Berger 75gr VLD, I see about 0.13-0.18" not sure….I'd have to study more…

Hey Guys,
Just wondering what people are running on their freebores for 22 Creedmoor.

FWIW, my 22 Creed has a 0.130" throat.

7-twist, barrel, and I shoot 85-95gr lead core jacketed bullets. Also shoot 73-78gr copper monolitics.

0.130" is a good length with these bullets.

Thinking i'm going to go 0.09" Then I can run 62-75 no worries with throat to catch.
let you guys know how it goes.
