While we are on the subject, does anyone know if 73gr ELD-Ms perform similarly to the 77TMK? I'm running low of TMKs and I've gone to ELDs, either M or X in almost everything else already due to availability.
Interesting to find this post so recent. I had to give up most of my guns this past two years to purchase new house and land. Building back.. kept all my reloading stuff though. I really only have 223's at this point and decided to buy the 70gr Barnes TSX for my mk12 mod 1 SPR... getting some rounds loaded for our Nov 12th start of rifle season. I do alot of long range shooting but most of these shots at home farm will be 40-75 yards. Shot placement will be key but hopefully those bullets will tear up the inside. Solid copper monolithics should retain energy as well as most of their weight... will post pics if I get one (or two.)
