Does anyone have some on game performance with this cartridge and the 90 grain bergers? Or a 6-06 with 115 grain bullets? I am thinking about making one of these two for my coyote slash mid range deer gun. Does anyone have opinions on these cartridges.

I'm assuming this is a 22-243 Win.? I've been shooting the 22-243 Win. for years.
Running the 80 gr Bergers and 80 gr SMK. They both make a coyote have a really bad day. The 80 gr SMK, well IMO, you can't ask for much more on whitetails. Although I haven't used the Bergers on deer yet. The coyote was shot @ 188 yards with 80 gr Berger. 1st pic exit on coyote, 2nd pic is entrance, and 3rd pic is an 80 gr SMK with 2 bullets recovered from 2 different deer. Bullets were found just under the hide on off shoulder. Hope this helps. gun)

87predator, I'm only running them right at 3420. Can push them harder but they shoot really good at that velocity. It has the same drop out to 800 yards as my 7STW with 168gr VLD's.

had a 220 swift built on a pre 64 mod 70 with a 1x7 twist.looks like a factory gun.i load 77gr sierra nice round to shot. george

I have killed 1 whitetail @ 515 yards with this round. I don't know that I will go much farther than that. Energy drops below 1,000 ft-lbs. Although, I wouldn't hesitate to shoot a coyote at 1k. My Dad has the farthest kill with my rifle. A coyote at 715 yards.
