I have a buddy that wants to load the Hornady ELD-X for his .30-.378 using US 896. Has anyone tried this combination? Any recipes?

Howdy, yes I have tried it. It's okay.
When I get back in my shop tomorrow,
I will look up the recipes.
It does work and pretty well, its just different.

It's listed in the Hornady 11th edition.
Howdy, I played with 869.
Start min 112. I found a good node around 118, now this was Max in my rifle.
3200fps. Using CCI250 at Mag length.
215Hyb Berger at this weight area worked better for me. Hope this helps.

Thank you K.E.C. looks like a great forum...a ton of great info! I had assumed that my buddy checked the Hornady reload in manual, but he clearly didn't because it's definitely in the 11th edition. I checked everywhere I could think of except there
