Got a great deal on three boxes of these guys, and I know everyone is moving towards the 215 Hybrid. But, I was hoping someone out there had some load data on this set up. Mostly looking for a starting charge, and Velocity with you test groups.

I know most guys that shoot RWS just drop 3-4 grains off of known min load an work up, but I did a search and could find any info with RWS brass.

O ya I'm using H1000 and RE22.

Thanks for the help.

I am shooting 210 bergers in RWS, CCI200, 75.7g H1000, 2879fps thru 26" sendero, to the lands, OAL 3.641, VERY accurate load ! This load took a while to fine tune but less than 10 fps spread and often duplicates on pro chrony.

I just worked a load using 210 Hunting bergers and came to 73 gr. H1000, CCI 250 Primers, WW brass .050 off the lands and my MV was 2750 out of my Savage 110. I'll be going out this weekend to shoot again and check drop data.

I purchased some PPU brass for my 300 win mag it was all that was available at the time. The case capacity is well lower than Norma. Loaded 210 HVLD with 74 and 75 gr H1000 which was my go to load in Norma or WW brass and had major compression so much so that the shoulders bulged when seated to 3.360 COAL and 75gr.

I was thinking about disassembling the rounds I loaded at 74 but will try shooting some at 71 .5 and working up 0.5 at a time.

Truthfully I backed off from my go to a grain at 74 to start and check for pressure signs and loaded some at 75 and noticed the shoulders.

I will definitely be backing off 2 or 3 gr from my normal starting point. Bergers data says 71.5 with no brass type so that looks like a safe place to start.

Good luck and shoot straight and buy Norma or WW brass. Needless to say I am not very happy with the PPU brass.

The RWS brass is a lot thicker so you have to back down a couple of grains to start. It is the toughest brass also. Matt

True story, all the RWS brass we use in both 300 win's and 7mm-300 win's end up about 3 grains lower charge weight at max than WW, RP, Norma, Graf and some others. This does not mean less velocity all the time though.

That is by far the fastest 210 I have seen posted. That will deffinatly carry 1800ft/lbs out to 1000, and then some, and then some more!!!!!!

You know I don't think that is right!! I don't have a chronograph so I shot it at my 600 yard steel and keep doping the scope till I was dead center and that was 8.2 inches of elevation, so I put all the data in my hand held and started uping the MV till it came out to (8.2 inches) and it came to 3120 fps. Now I know that wasn't the right way to do that but it's all I had . Don't meen to walk on the OP thread but is what I did wrong ? If so how could I fix this ? I also used this data and typed in 800 yards and fired and hit the steel almost dead center.

I'm no expert here, but as far as I know you just skipped using the chrono as a starting velocity. I use mine as a starting point, and to see if my flyers are me or a difference in velocity, and then shoot some distance and adjust my velocity until it matches my what my rounds are doing.
