Just look at the 6mm and the Krieger .236 and the .237 bore diameters. One will shoot one bullet great and not the next and the vice versa. Seems to be a pretty well established issue, ie bullet and bore particular.

Yeah, but you're describing a different scenario...236 and .237 are bore diameters, which refer to the diameter of the lands..You will find both the .236 and .237 Krieger barrels hold the same groove diameter for both bore diameters..The difference there would be the depth of land which engages the bullet and drives it thru the barrel, and in that case is more on the order of .0005" than .0001".
