Went on my first bear hunt and was lucky to harvest one. After two hours of glassing a canyon this guy appeared when he got a fawn deer waited to see if any cubs came in he was in alittle space between trees 535 yards away and I shoot off a rock cliff cool thing two bears came running away rite underneath me on the cliff when he got the fawn

I was fortunate enough to take my first elk this year. Extra special for me being as though I built the rifle (6.5x284) and the load (berger 156 eol), and it was a DIY hunt. Better than that, my youngest son finally connected with a good buck after years of putting in time.

Nice , I like to see the Bears get thinned out ,especially at 535 yds. Good shot.

Great for both of you!

Figure this will be the only year I will ever go successful on all three species. Deer Colorado, elk Oregon, and antelope Wyoming. Fun year
What's your elk rifle there? Looks like a 700 whelen?

Was another good year all public land, and a few firsts for the young girls! I'm very appreciative of the place I get to call home and the animals I get to chase every year. The one thing that makes me the happiest is to be apart of seeing the youth make it happen! Pass it on or it will be gone.

I'm Canadian so it made it easier for a lot of the travel. I went with outfitters that were committing to Canadian hunters regardless if the border opened up at the last second or not. It was a long year, work was crazy busy and when I got away, it was to climb mountains lol. Oh well, you only live once. Trying to make the most of it
