I've had great success deer hunting with the 147 grain ELD-M out of my 6.5 Creedmoor. The BC of the 180 grain ELD-M is very attractive. Is the 180 grain ELD-M too frangible for a deer hunting bullet launched around 3000 FPS?

It's basically a tipped berger.

I definitely wouldn't shoot it in the STW, it'll be a flying bomb. You'd be much better off with the ELD-X

The 180 eld-m is bad deer medicine. I launch them at 3053 out of my 7mm rem mag and it devastates. So far shots have been under 100 yards and it has no problem getting to where it needs to go. It wrecks them!
