175 Grain ELD-X for hunting?

Killed lots of stuff with ELD-X bullets 6.5 143s, 7mm 175s, and 30cal 212s. My only grip with ELD-X bullets is I've found in high round count magnums with considerable throat errostion they seem to not like lots of jump. By lots of jump. I mean 100 thou or more. Boy do they kill good.

I've had zero issues with the 6.5 cal. 143 ELD-X, but have not shot a deer sized critter past 300 yards with them; inside that, bang flop almost every time.

X 162 , 175 gr.
M 162 , 180 gr
I bought them to shoot out of my 280AI rifle.

A friend here kills a lot of deer with our very liberal limits with a 260 Rem loaded with 130g ELD-M.

I have shot a bunch with 6.5 Creedmoors and the factory ELDX loads. We have not lost one or had any issues with it. Last year I shot a bunch of pigs and a couple deer with a 6.5 PRC shooting ELD-M factory loads. I couldn't tell any difference. They all died quickly, most dropped in their tracks.
