Weight data from 200 rounds of Hornady 162 gr A-Max. Weights ranged from 161.3 to 162.3 all samples for the same lot number. Weight Quantity: 161.3 2, 161.4 7, 161.5 17, 161.6 15, 161.7 25, 161.8 29, 161.9 36, 162 48, 162.1 18, one with bent tip, 162.2 2, 162.3 1. Spread of 1 grain.

First time I've weighed bullets is this a normal spread for the A-Max?

That's pretty good. When I buy a lot of 500 185 hybrids Bergers, they have about a 1.5 gr. variation.
