I just checked on Berger's Barrel Twist Calculator. Gave me a SG of 1.88. "Comfortable Stability" at sea level, 1-8", 2650 fps.1:8" twist for the 150/156 works just fine.
Cheers.

260 and 65CM in fast twist heavy barrel PRS rifles I use for hunting when I am not walking far and a 26 Nosler Browning XBolt for longer hikesWhich cartridge are you shooting?
I'm running 156's in my 1:8" 264WM without issue. The 29.5" barrel just makes them sing. Couldn't get my hands on any 150ABLR to try.I just checked on Berger's Barrel Twist Calculator. Gave me a SG of 1.88. "Comfortable Stability" at sea level, 1-8", 2650 fps.
I bet that 264 WM makes them sing! I could swear I saw 2nd's 150 ABLR's not long ago. But I'm having fun with the Barnes Match Burners 145 gr in my 260 AI. A ton of great choices with 6.5mm.I'm running 156's in my 1:8" 264WM without issue. The 29.5" barrel just makes them sing. Couldn't get my hands on any 150ABLR to try.

I'd be interested in hearing how it goes for you. Some 150 ABLRs "blems" popped up at the Nosler Pro Shop a few weeks ago so I ordered them to try and compare to the 142 ABLRs.
I'm in Australia, so getting anything since Covid has been difficult. Have plenty of 142g ABLR, so set for those.I bet that 264 WM makes them sing! I could swear I saw 2nd's 150 ABLR's not long ago.
