I know how it goes. My son is 17 and was my shadow from the time he could crawl. Every year we were in the deerstand together. We even had our own sign language so we didn't have to speak and possibly spook game.
Last year we didn't hunt together a single time. He is into hunting a different species of whitetail now and, although I understand and I know I did the exact same thing at his age, that was an awfully lonely deer stand last fall.
I don't know where the time has gone. Seems like yesterday I was changing their diapers. Now I do the laundry and see bras and want to puke.
