110 gr vmax loads for the 308 win

Hello has any body tried using 110 gr v max bullets in their 308's if so do you have a good handload I could try

I loaded several different variations of powders, cases and seating depths, but never got a decent grouping with them. Tried 50 or so rounds on prarie dogs but never got a decent explosive kill shot. Everything was over 350 yards so I wasn't happy with this bullet, Can't give you a good loading, but I can save you some time. I used a savage 10flp and leupold 4.5-14 mildot scope. best group at 100 yds was 1.68. this is out of a half min angle rifle.

you might give the Speer 125 TNT a try. I had good luck with them and Benchmark powder. Groups averaged around 1/2 to 3/4 moa.

I shot 60 rounds of them at my last PD outing. They are hell on jack rabbits. They shot about 2 inches at 200yds for me on a windy day. They are fun but probably not the best choice.
