1000yd range in north Georgia

Does anyone know of a place to shoot out to 1000yds or close to that in North Georiga. I live close to the NC, TN, GA border. Just getting into long range and cannot find a place to shoot more than 300yds. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is the longest I'm familiar with. It goes out to 700y. It's run by a former Navy Chief Small Arms Instructor. Good guy and he runs a tight ship so to speak.

I'm pretty stoked on the location of that range, it's only 10 miles from my girlfriends house! I will be checking this place out as soon as my rig is complete.

Elberton Gun Club has 1000 yd shoots. Thats on the South Carolina border. They have a web page.

Oakridge, TN has a 1000 yard range with monthly matches. Excellent compitition and members.

Is Oakridge open to all rifles and calibers or is it only open to certian ones
