That is similar to what I did. Took forever. I shot 15 singles. So shoot, clean, shoot, clean......OMG. On my way to work I would stop in a remote spot and shoot the ditch bank. I would clean the carbon and then let it soak for a bit in my car while in the office. I would take breaks and run out and patch it. On the way home, bang, clean again. This is when I was also finding the high pressure signs. Then when it came to range day I could shoot groups, clean, groups, clean. Took me a couple of weeks. I have about 100 rounds fired and this rifle is now really coming in.
