Recoil isn't bad at all, gun is 6.5 lbs. I put a kahles k328i on it to try to keep it from being too light, I really like the whole setup.

Probably a bartlin or xcaliber. I'll call them and see what lead time is and probably a 9 twist

Bartlin Mabye , Mabye xcaliber, mabye Oregon mountain but I think OM only has 10 twist barrels I want a 9 twist. I'll give them all a call and see what wait time is. Since I'll chamber and thread one myself wait time shortens
I have a 1:9" 3G from Lilja, and very please with it. Good luck!

Go short. The 100 FPS difference at 1000 yards isn't enough to worry about with a heavy/high BC bullet.

26" would be my choice out of the two. That cartridge burns a lot of powder and gives a lot of performance. Gotta allow it to its strengths. If you wanna do a 21" id consider a smaller cartridge.

For now I'm limited on funds until my prs rig sells so I'm going with a Remington 700 with a PTG fluted bolt trigger tech trigger factory Remington varmit barrel at 26 inches 1:10 twist barrels, Nightforce NXS with Nightforce rings and pic. Rail and factory bottom metal at 3.850 . I'll order a new barrel soon
