He said he was hoping to have it done awhile ago. But I Haven't been pressing him either.
Yeah I have lots of data on them with 6 barrels, 3 different barrel makes, 4 different lengths and 3 different freebore's. So many variables involved it's hard to give a person data for something that may not match my findings. The only thing I can say for certain my top 3 powders are N570, Retumho, and H1000. All will give you 3100 with the correct variables and some quite a bit more than that.
I am more concerned about a safe starting load.
H1000 start at 80 grains
Retumbo start at 82 grains
N570 start at 83 grains.
You should be around 2900 fps on all those starting charges with a 26" barrel FB of .200+ and subtract 25 fps per inch less barrel length.
