What's A Good Bullet For Bagging DRONES?

I had a guy with a thermal drone find a really nice buck I had shot in a swampy area where a dog couldn't trail due to water .
It's a fledgling business , but it's not going away .

Shooting "long distance" with shotguns involves a completely different approach/skill set that what we're accustomed to on LRH. 😉 memtb

Acquaintance in HS had a 100w linear amp for his cb radio. It must have been a pretty poor amp section because sitting in the parking lot diagonally across the intersection from the Jack in the Box he could key-up on any channel and obliterate whatever was said at the ordering station of the Drive-Thru.

It wouldn't take an EMP to obscure or even fry hobby drone electronics. Mil grade stuff would be a LOT harder to cripple.

Most drones are channel hopping on 2.4gh or higher. Linear amp won't affect them.

Point was that it's possible. Maybe or maybe not with one of those amps specifically, but possible.

If you broadcast noise in the 2.4gHz range and it's strong enough to drown out any control signals, what will the hobby drone do? Those very few that I have any knowledge of will return to their controller's last known position. Then you might have a chance of IDing the operator.
I've no expectation of this type of attack working with anything Mil-spec. It was likely the very first thing that got hardened.
