Scope help

There are a ton of options under 32oz. Just a few…
TT 3-15x50 - 27-28oz
NF ATACR 4-16x42. - 30oz
March - several options
Yep,
Bushnell LRHS 2
Maven RS1.2
Maven CRS3
Nightforce NXS 2.4x10
S&B T96 polar 2.5x10
Tract UHD FFP 2.5x15 hunting
Vortex Razor LHT FFP
Vortex Strike Eagle FFP

I can go on--I'm not saying I'd recommend all--but not one of these options exceeds 29 oz

I guess my question is what is going to be the weight of the rife? If it's a light weight rifle why put a 2 lb optic on it. So if weight is a thought go with a Z5 Swarovski if not you have a lot of good selections. I didn't see Zero Compromise or Maven listed so their is another choice

There is only one I found with a 24 power zoom. It is listed above. It is also illuminated and under 22 ounces.
Most scopes that I saw under 25 ounces have a 16 to 18 zoom max. I like a little more zoom.
I have the March Genesis scope for my ELR rifle and it is fantastic. I look forward to seeing how this will do on my new light hunting rifle.

It should be 7-7.5 pounds pre scope

If weight is an issue, the ATACR is going to be the heaviest in the group. S&B are going to be right around that weight too. We are talking 40-46 oz depending - Kahles at 34oz

I have had all 3. Two of the at the same time. As far as glass quality, Kahles and S&B and all day. The ATACR is a close second IMO and IME shooting them side by side.

Whatever you decide, in the list you have, buy once and cry once. Go for it!

Alot of the lightweight version I was viewing are low in power zoom, except the NF NX8. After spending three weeks behind a Leupold 3.5-18 MK5 HD, with my eyesight, I like a larger power zoom.

At least two of those you listed are SFP. I believe the comment you replied to was in response to the sub 32oz FFP options.

The ATACR sits pretty much in the middle of that list as far as weight goes. 37.6oz

The 3 Kahles range from 33-35oz.
TT315 are both about 28oz.
March FX 4-5-28x56 ranges from 29-31oz
ZCO 420 35oz even though the one I purchased weighed a little over 36oz.
ZCO 527 39oz
TT525 is 41oz
Hensholdt, Minox are mid 40oz range
SB 3-27 and 5-25 both about 39oz
