Scope rings

That's exactly what I was leading to, but I don't know what ring the OP has, so I provided the picture as a reference. Some brands might also measure height differently. Below is an Arken SH 34MM 4-16x50 with a low ring and 20 MOA rail. He might want to consider extra low rings.

I'm thinking about getting an Arken scope like yours, can you give me your opinion on your scope, Thanks.

The SH 4-16x50 FFP 34MM (I have 2 other Arken in EPLs) is a budget-priced scope, but don't let that fool you; it's built like a tank. Surprisingly, the optical clarity (and I do not have the best vision) and trackability are very good for its price point. It's a 34MM tube, so it's on the heavy/bulky side, and if you are not accustomed to the Christmas tree-type reticle, it might be too busy. There are plenty of folks here who are happy with their Arken scopes. All Arken scopes are on sale now - an excellent time to buy. Good luck!

Agree with Jay, here is a similar scope on a 20 moa base these rings are .97 height would prefer lower.
So I saw a thing on YouTube that said . It's good to have a 1/4 inch clearance from the bottom of the 56mm end of the scope to help with heat inversion from the barrel .
That has me thinking , to do that also

Most like theirs as close to the barrel as possible, and I like mine around .250" to allow clearance during recoil flexing.
