Any well-versed users on here? Is there a way to calibrate powder. 6.5 Staball is running way low compared to real velocities, like 150fps on 6.5 PRC. Also is there a way to add a caliber like 6.8 western? I see the caliber designer, is that the only way? Is there a way to share files?

I'm not on discord and been wondering this myself. Any help with adjusting something to match your chronograph velocities for OBT? Been researching it a bit and haven't found the answer.

Its pretty simple. on Measurement tab enter your chrono velocities and delete all the example lines. Open OBT and click the compute button, you should see your chrono velocities on OBT page now, then file save. Then it will create a 2nd load file with OBT tagged on end of file, save that file. Then you can open either in future. It also will show your new nodes data with new OBT.

The way I do it is in powder mass type in your chrono'd powder charge AND adjust temperature the recording was taken at, make sure that is clicked and highlighted, click OBT, verify it says the correct grains for your charge, then type in your actually recorded velocity and click compute.

yep, just did it your way and it did same thing the way I did it. My way just figures the avg for you based on your shot string. Your way you can just plug in avg. Your way is easier. Thanks.

Coop, you can also save the calibrated powder into the user database for future use. You will need to give it a unique name, for instance, N130 243 100 gr. It will ask about this if you try to change to a different powder

Is it beneficial to do this using multiple powder charges or is only one charge needed? Do you have to maintain multiple powder files for the different charges and/or temperatures?
