New Tikka Not Grouping Well

I agree.
IMO...Lupy's old set 'em and forget 'em's hold zero well.

We used Leupold 2.5-8 Vari X for years no issues. Zero issues …..her's on a .338 WM mine on my .375 AI. We both went to Leupold 3.5-10 CDS's (first generation) about 15 years ago.
Neither have a lot of rounds fired under them, so far- so good! memtb

I've been shooting and hunting with Leupolds for over 40 years without a problem. Last year my son lost the opportunity to harvest a beautiful "8" due to Leupold scope failure. Along with his experience and reading about more than a few failures over the last 2 years, I will probably choose another optic when the time comes. Sad to see this once iconic company slowly lose its stellar status in the hunting/shooting industry. It's a competitive market and we are fortunate to choose from more than a few different optics companies. Thank goodness for reviews and testimonies.

The old ones were dern good scopes. Their rings and bases were tough and made from good stuff as well. It is only within the last few years that things headed south unfortunately.

I had a 2x pistol scope on my Super Redhawk 44 mag. I got it after a lesser scopes crosshairs turned to X hairs due to recoil. Never had any issues with the Leupold.

I know we are off the subject of OP and in scopes now and I apologize for that.

I know I'll be bashed hard about this…BUT

If you want a repeatable dialing scope other than Nightforce and other high end scopes with an even higher price point… look no farther than the Huskemaw scopes.

They WILL repeat and not lose zero!!!!!
Well, at least my 4 have been that way.

I'm putting the hard hat on now for the bashing! 💪

Why would you get bashed? Those are some good scopes, I don't have one but my friend does and it's really nice glass.

As a Nebraskan I am always torn if a Huskemaw is something a Husker would naturally own, or some sort of Husker based insult.
