EDC Protection for our Gals…..

Nope.

Strength is a major component to getting out of holds, and maneuvering in ground grappling.

Clearly neither of you have done these things to any degree.

That's why there is a women's division.
No
Ill stand by my statement thanks
Clearly you think you know more than you do

Clearly.

This dude would get wiped out if he competed in the the men's professional MMA. Instead, he's fighting women pros, and he wins with ease…because strength and biology matters.

No. It's not.
What wrestling you doing? WWF?

Head and arm take down…on the ground.
Suplex was only legal in Greco and freestyle when I was in high school and that was a long time ago…either way…ground…

Single leg take down…ground…double leg…ground…..leg rides…ground….

Crucifix…you can only do on the ground.
Half Nelson ground.
Full Nelson illegal, but whatever…either way…it doesn't break anything…

Gator roll…kneeling…but it ends on the ground.
Head and arm can dislocate shoulder snap an elbow. Suplex can snap a neck or crack a skull. single leg can dislocate a knee. Double leg a person onto a table edge or any other object. I guess you didn't delve more deeply in the techniques.

Guys get your girls trained up It can save their lives. Regardless of what someone says on the internet, it doesn't matter how strong they are compared to anyone else.

No it really can't. And they all end up on the ground. You know the amount of fights that take place that that statistically doesn't happen?

Except the suplex. If you do it right, you're hitting YOUR head on cement in a street fight too.. that's if you can even lift the dude. What if he's he's 380 lbs? Most of you guys can't even hike to hunt…and you want you teenage girl to do that?

Show me any instance where a head and arm ever dislocated an elbow or a single leg ever dislocated a knee

Ah here. did it for you. That's called an accident. Not a technique. That's could dislocate as in it's possible but not likely.

It's also a major component to make a hard hit in MMA.
Wrestled from kindergarten through college. Dad was from the old country so we started edged weapon training around 5 years old. Strength is only one variable. And if you relied on it then the skill level isn't high.

Like I said you're not looking at the roots of the art. You're looking at it as a sport.

I wrestled from junior to college and then went to the military. So what? Strength is a factor.

I can look at it as life and death. Very easily.

Yeah well I went to the military to so lol.
Too*

…and…? Because they let women do martial arts in the Marines…and they don't beat the guys…ever..

Maybe it's just not the right technique

Lemme ask you this..if strength isn't a factor, why is there weight classes….?

In any case I stand by my comments and suggest edged weapon training like Kali or FMA. That's the one weakness of grappling or JJ, edged weapons. Lost a friend to a stabbing last week. Not sure of the circumstances.
