EDITED any Boyd's stocks

The beauty of the Boyds stocks is that you can modify them in shape to fit you.
I have one of the ultra lights on a Ruger M77 that i didn't care for the squared off under side when carrying that I just rounded it off more and shortened the forearm a couple inches and refinished. Try that with a fiberglass/carbon stock

I have one on my main deer rig, (pro varminter) first one they sent me was inletted off center and they replaced it quickly, this time inletted square and inline. I ordered it with the pillars installed which were ever so slightly too short. I also glass bedded the action to the stock. No complaints about the second stock.

I have used many over the years. All I have had to make minor adjustments for proper fit. They would of all worked out box as far as put action in tighten screws and shoot. But for proper stress free and clearance for optimum accuracy, they all needed minor work. Sanding and tremel work. I have bedded them all too.

A few years ago I was building a Mauser for my daughter.
We went to the Harrisburg PA Great Outdoors Show. Boyds was there and my daughter was looking at all the stock options.
When we got home, my daughter was telling my wife about all of the stocks.
My wife grabbed her laptop and asked me what the gun was that I was making for my daughter.
Told her "large ring Mauser".
They proceeded to look for a while.
I got to making dinner.
Next thing I hear is my wife saying "There! It's ordered!"

That's how I ended up putting a Purple Boyds AT-One stock on a Mauser. 🙄
