McGuire Ballistics .277 High BC/Heavy hunting bullet

Excited for this, I built an 8 twist .270 win in the beginning of the year and had the chamber cut for badlands 140s. Bought a few hundred before they closed and was worried I wouldn't find something similar, I like expanding copper more then the types the petals break off.
Hey bud, I saw you had purchased a few hundred of the badlands bd2 140 in .277 before they shut down. With a couple new options coming out, I thought you are probably going to change brands so you aren't wasting time building a load for the bd2 just in time to run out.... kind of like I did. I wish I'd had known they were going to be no more and bought a boatload before they disappeared. Unfortunately, I had just gotten my loads all worked up and now only have about 100 rounds left. I thought I'd ask, especially if you hadn't already gotten a good load worked up, if you be interested in selling the 140s you have? I'd appreciate it, if you were interested...

Thanks,

Josh

Sorry guys, don't mean to hijack... but it won't let me message ericmcd

I'm also very excited to see these, I hope they perform as well as they look. Mid .6xx G1 would be awesome, if it's 150 or up, even pushing .7 G1 and I'll be all over it. It's great to see you guys working on the .277, several newish calibers that are needing it.

I'm guessing "ericmcd" doesn't have enough??? I've been around since LRH first came around... only time I was gone was in 2013 when my phone crashed and I needed to reset my password and create a new account. ha... thanks though.

Unfortunately I am in the same boat as you, I bought 300 and worked up a load, went to buy more and they were gone. I'm not interested in selling just yet I used them this season and they work great. I'll most likely use them for hunting only and find another load for practice

Would you have a distributor to Canada? A 145-155 with a bc in the .650 area would be fantastic but I imagine one would have to end up 165gr ish to get there. Should be able to push a 150 at around 3080 in my .270prc maybe faster depending on bearing surface and alloy. I push 140tgk at around 3250 and 150sst at 3080 ish. To get mid .6 at the lower weight would be something I'd line up for. Powders I've used are rl 26, h1000, n560,n565.

Maybe someone could contact the estate and see if the bullet business is for sale?

We do not have a Canadian distributor as of now. We have paper work in but haven't heard back.
