I was unaware they had a tipped version--- fusion/gold dot bullets have shot well for me in a few calibers

I bought some loaded ammo when I first got my 7 PRC, and they shoot as good as anything I've tried so far including handloads, but, the factory loads were in the 2850 fps range and I'm looking for more than that. I'm currently up around 2950 fps with what I'm working on, but I may buy some to see how they do in handloads.

I'm trying to get my head around what the difference would be between this and a Speer impact.
Both bonded by means of just an extra thick electroplating of copper onto lead.

I think they're the same thing. I believe Speer makes the fusion for federal. So a tipped boat tail should be the same as the impact.
