Brass trimmer recommendations

A very long time ago I started using Foster case trimmers ! Got an assortment of collets and pilots ! Then another case trimmer. And then a third ! Now one is set up just got 270 win at all times , another one is set got 30 caliber 08 06 and 300 Weatherby! The third is forwhat ever ! Now that i have a 7 PRC need another pilot !!

Sadly I am a born experimenter/tester (retired engineer)! It's a mental illness!
Little Crow in my garage drill press for high volume 223.
Old hand crank Hornady (designed by Pacific before Hornady bought them) set up for granddaughter's 7mm-08 but occasionally switch for her 222.
Ancient Lyman hand crank set up for 30-06.
Lees in 375 H&H, 300 WM, 6.5 Creed, and anything new I am playing with low volume.
Lyman Express set up mainly for 243.
IME&O everything works once you get the technic and purpose figured out.

Best of luck deciding what works best for you!

If you're doing some volume or you're just impatient like me, you should be happy with the Giraud. I have one and it has made my brass prep life much happier. I also ha e the Lyman prep center and the rcbs power trimmer, but after using the Giraud, everything else is painfully slow.
One step, about 1 second per case, trimmed, chamfered and deburred. Ill prep a 1200 count case of brass in about an hour.

IMO the Forster is very good and I have found it quite accurate regarding consistent lengths. They also make 3 in 1 trimmer heads that take care of the chamfering but they are pricey. I made an electric one that uses the Forster cutting heads and I make my case holders using chamber reamers for higher volume stuff. Mine works much like the Henderson Tool one but I like mine better. Most people will be well served with the Forster trimmers.
