I have two in rough shape cause they ride in the ranger non stop. One is a standard barrel Remington 700 spray painted so it wont rust, the other is a savage tactical heavy barrel some condition. Truck guns at best but both are shooters and have killed a lot of varmints.
I have one built on a ruger action. 24" fluted Shilen select 5 contour in an HS stock.
Good bit of factory ammo as well.

We like the 6.5X284 but try finding Lapua Brass for it. Stocked up a few years ago when going to shoot "F" Class and have about 1K new Lapua. Will last us several lifetimes.
You can find a lot of "06" brass if wanting a 6.5.06 with basically the same ballistics.
