YES! And with a published load.
This time of year I get all interested in predator hunting, I decided to try Hornady's 100 grain ELD-VT bullet from my 6.5 Creedmoor Bergara which has a 22" barrel.
First I tried a box of the Hornady V Match 100 grain ammo and learned that it shot well at 3143 fps.
Next I handloaded the same bullet with 43.8 grains of StaBall Match for 3263 fps. I was pleased with the accuracy and velocity.
Finally I bumped up to Hodgdon's max of 45.3 grains of StaBall Match and was surprised & pleased to see 3351 fps! That's a solid 200+ fps gain over the factory load and I cut the SD roughly in half as well, down to 8 fps.
I think that I found my coyote load and it probably won't be fur-friendly...
Hornady's data was from a 24" barrel so I was particularly pleased reaching that velocity with a 22" barrel. Time to go find some coyotes!
