i'm sure it does, but the margin for error is much smaller. That being said there's no way i can be convinced to take a 6 creed for elk, moose or bear

Agreed, I like my 300 Norma Mag Improved with the Berger 215. Elk drop like they were hit by lightning.
they definitely are. I think i'll go with the 300. Do you have any lightweight barrels in the shop ?

I use mostly proof barrel in my lightweight builds. I have plenty in 30cal
