Classified, What does ( I'll Take It Mean )

Ok. Maybe you should have mentioned that you had a lot of trader history on other sites. Nobody knows this unless you state it!
I apologize if I offended you.
Well, I don't make stuff up and I don't talk through my hat. Those that read my posts will generally see that, I have the same user name, Dean2, on all forums and I am not used to having to provide proof or qualifications for my statements so it didn't occur to me I needed to this time. That is my version of being honest. All in however, I was not offended. When you see the nonsense that gets posted on the Internet, a guy just can't take critical comments personally cause you have no idea who the guy on the other end of the keyboard is.

Most of the time, I would not have responded to your post, but this one I do feel somewhat strongly about, because so many really minor issues can get blown out of all proportion in these Buy/Sell threads. Face to face deals already have the issue of misunderstandings, doing it online is really fraught with the potential for guys to get their noses out of joint for no good reason at all. It is one of the reasons I always talk on the phone with anyone I am selling to or buying from. Clears stuff up a whole lot faster.

"Ill take this" to me is your first come first served timestamp and accepting the item, price and payment method as listed

Any price and payment method negotiations should be done before by Private messages, if there are any changes that were agreed on, then the buyer comments "per our conversation, ill take this"

Immediately following either of those you work out payment method(if there are multiple options) the seller then decides if that works,

Buyer sends money seller updates thread to pending or sold pending funds.

Once payment is received immediately change the thread to Sold status.

Nothing drives me more crazy than deals done exclusively over private messages/"in the dark" and an item that is not available but still active.
