Garmin Inreach will soon be obsolete!!!

Living in Florida, less than 100 miles from Cape Canaveral I can tell you we have at least 2 rockets a week with about 20-25 satellites each going up.

I would think that ole Android/Samsung are over there minding their p's and q's and collaborating with Garmin,,,, all while apple drops a horrible attempted at getting out from underneath Samsungs overwhelming tech shadow, thinking they've done it............ AND THEN BAAAAAMMMMM .. YAHTZEEEE BI*&^ 🤣 🤣

I will be glad when I have cell service in Sunlight Basin North of Cody while Black Bear hunting north of Cody in case of a Grizzly encounter. Verizon ain't cutting it!

No, the new local tower that is ****ing off the locals is at Wapiti.

ATT has one on top of Dead Indian Pass that is no help to Verizon users☹️

Maybe StarLink will have service that will appeal to hunters and shed hunters and other outdoor recreation-ists whose cell phones can get access in times of need.

I am specifically thinking of bear attacks and needing emergency services. Well, any home or vehicle accident as well.

Whoever (T-Mobile right now) gets access to Starlink is going to be the winner of the sat communication race. It's not even close. Apple is using Globalstar ( 48 satellites from what I can find) Garmin uses the Iridium network (66 satellites from what I can find) and Starlink has over 6500. Starlink puts more satellites up a month then the other companies have in their entire networks.

Elon may just start his own phone company with worldwide service when he gets bored with his other endeavors lol.
