Originally a 116 Bear Hunter in 300wm, bought solely for the action.
It's the factory stainless action, switched to a standard .480 bolt head, knob upgraded to a BT varmint. Has an EGW 20moa base. Factory accutrigger tuned to 15ozs.
Factory camo hinged floor plate accustock.
Barrel is a Mcgowen 26" varmint contour 8 twist, with 11° crown, less than 150 rounds, holds between 1/4 and 1/2 moa, with 140 eldms, over RL26, in Lapua cases, with Fed210M primers. Runs at 3110fps, SD between 6.5 and 9 typically.
Has a Sightron Stac 4-20 moa2 scope on it currently. Comes with loaded rounds and the remainder of the fired Lapua cases. Weighs 11lbs 13ozs without the versapod mount. Not a lightweight stalker, but not ridiculously heavy, good antelope or bean field rifle.
Everything is in excellent condition, over 99%. Looking for $1500.00 with scope and rings, or $1100.00 without. Any questions, feel free to ask.

Very old school cartridge, with modern 65k psi+ capability. Runs with some of the best medium 6.5s, needs a resting space in someone else's safe!

Nice Rifle! I always wanted one of those Bear Hunters in .375 Ruger. I dabbled in the Swede 20 years ago, wound up sending it to a buddy in MO and it's one of his favorite rifles. I just always gravitated towards the 6mm rifles like .243 Win and now 6mm Creedmoor.

I have another friend who has a M96 6.5 Swedemoor (his name for 6.5X55) in Ramline stock, that's a hammer on deer with 140 grain Sierras that McGowen rebarreled for him. I've also watched him take a couple of pronghorn over the years at close to 500 as well.

GLWS, it's just too heavy for the style of hunting I do.

Thanks. Yeah, it's definitely not a backpacking rifle, it's not terribly heavy, but heavy enough for sure. Keeps the recoil down quite a bit though. Let's go $1400/$1000 for the holiday.

Last drop, then I might separate it all. $1300 package deal/$900 rifle and ammo.
