Heavy Sporter Barrel in Sendero Barrel Channel

I'd like to go with the 3, but believe that rules out the option to run direct thread 5/8x24. I mainly run QD devices so not a huge deal.

May depend on the caliber. Prolly ok with a 6.5, a 338 may be a too thin.

I have a Preferred No2 in 338 that is 5/8-24. Haven't compared to a 3 so it may work.

It's a 6mm cm. I can get 5/8x24 on the bartlein #3, XCaliber #5, Brux #4, etc those all end at .670…but I'm being told it's not recommended to run direct thread on those.

By the contour that fits your weight and then find a smith that will cut 1/2threads and a blended 5/8 adapter, or 5/8 with a blended shoulder.

Dont let muzzle threads dictate your rifle weight and balance. There are ways to have both.

Interesting. It'll be a short, 17" barrel with suppressor, in a 3 lb manners. So a little barrel weight may not be a bad thing.
