I'm interest in the 12" model with a 6 or 7ft or so stove pipe to clear the tent. I've used a ultralight stove similar to the stove from Seek outside so I get the rolled nature of the stove pipe. Does the air intake on the stove also have a way to dampen as well and Is there a spart arrestors to cap the stove pipe?

It does not have an air intake on the front. It was designed this way to minimize cost and weight. I found in testing that a air intake is not necessary. If the damper is fully closed on the stove pipe, that dampens air flow enough that it doesn't need an adjustment on the front. If you need more airflow at the beginning while you're trying to get the fire going, the door can be left off or the bottom can be cracked open to allow additional air flow. The damper assembly has a spark arrestor built into it, instead of a cap on the top of the stove pipe. Very similar to the Seek Outside damper assembly.

Sorry, should have specified, it doesn't have adjustable air intake. The hexagon holes do serve as air intake but they are not designed to be closed or opened. The two ends are held together by a small cable with a spring.

I purchased one of these stove awhile back. I'll say I'm impressed with the biuld. Haven't used it yet but hopefully next spring I'll be putting it to use. Just need to find the right tent to pack in on my goats.
