Its funny, this thread sometimes makes me think, man thats too much meat damage! Lol

And then I think about that and it makes me smile because its a mono, at normal speeds and thats pretty bada$$ to even have that thot provoked regarding a monolithic with long range BCs and corresponding low opening velocities! GOOD WORK!! Im impressed!!

The future of hunting in lead free regions is looking brighter every year. With these, Afterburners, the evolution of Hammers with tips... Im much more optimistic than I was even 3 years ago. :)

Thank you sir

Assuming a persons rifle has appropriate twist to run them all in given caliber, lets say 7mm, what would be your reccomendations on choosing bullet weight within that calibers line?

Are some individual bullets better at low vel impacts than others? Ive read that you prefer having 2000fps at impact; assuming that is met by both a 140 class and 160 class bullet at say 700yds are there any recommendations youd make?

The trade off is velocity or BC and finding what cartridge will give you the maximum effective range by combining the two together. Our 7mms have roughly the same expansion at given velocity. The 7MM 168Gr is 1.750 long and is a bit more finicky per set up. The 143GR and 160 are some of our best selling bullets and are extremely easy to load for so I usually push guys that way for most set ups. The 160 and 143 are responsible for the longest kills on game. 1314, 1120 yards with 160s and 1024 with 143s. Many 600 yard plus reports with both. Long winded way to say pick your poison.

Copy that. Thanks. Thats what Id figure you'd say but ya never know so thot Id ask.

If there ever is a bullet that has better or more substantial expansion, penetration etc I know I appreciate seeing that info on the bullets page.

And as for choosing by running the numbers, believe me I do! Lol I still have pages and pages of printed 30-06 drop data, this vs that bullet, this vs that velocity. Measure twice buy once, isnt that the saying? Lol
