Nosler M48

I've been intrigued by the Nosler pistols since they came out and your groups sum up why! It looks like they typically shoot pretty well, and it's not a terrible price compared to the cost of building a custom center grip specialty pistol. I just wish they offered some larger chamberings, like any of the short mags. I'd be all over one of the Nosler pistols if it came in 33 Nosler.

How are you shooting the short eye relief scopes? You have to be creeping up pretty close.

It takes a little practice, but it works well with the right setup. A heavy gun and/or a good muzzle brake make a big difference.

The 308 now wears a Vortex 3 x 12 and it has generous eye relief. More than any other rifle scope I currently have and it wears an Area 419 muzzle break which is very effective. No worries about it popping me in the noggin.

Buy the gun. You can always find a new wife. 🤣🤣
Well, there is that, but keep in mind that, "Old Wives," are quite expensive. Would be much better to get the current wife involved in shooting so she is equally interested in new guns and ammo. Using the tact, "It is something we can do together," can work, with the caveat being that there will probably no longer be deer camp with the boys, as well as you might have to spend a night at the Opera with her in exchange. Trust me, it's worth it and a lot cheaper than a divorce.

Maybe I should show you a picture of myself now, 73 year old fat guy with a house full of guns and a stupid cat. I'm A real catch. I'll keep the one I've trained to not look in the cabinet for a new contender barrel. Besides, she is the one who has a rich mother.

had so much positive reviews from the Nosler M48.
think I'll just have to get one.
Got the 6.5 CM on Gunbroker, the 308 came from Midway USA. I'm thinking of having the CM rebarreled to 243 Winchester. I'm sorta over the 6.5 craze. Back when I hunted with a rifle the 243W was all I used 95% of the time, it never failed me. Shots from 30 to 350 plus on deer and always got complete penetration with a good bullet.

You won't be disappointed if you get an M48. Finding one you want will be the issue. Midway USA has one in stock, a 6mm CM.

After changing the scope from pistol to rifle the groups really tightened up on my Nosler M48 pistol in 308 Win. This is is Nosler's factory loaded 165 gr. Accubond ammo @ 100 yds. It shoots the Ballistic Tips equally well. Partitions are next.

41Magnum, I've got a NCH chambered in 22 Nosler it's one of my guns for prairie dog hunting. I pull out the 22 Nosler when the wind kicks up and use 53 or 55 grain bullets. I've been pleased w/ mine as it's been very accurate w/ just about anything I load in it. It normally shoots 3 shots group of 6/10". I have Bushnell AR/223 4.5-18X rifle scope on. It took me a while to get use to shooting rifle scopes on LER handguns, but now I like the set up. I also shoot a Dead Air suppressor on it. Although it's not a heavy recoiling gun, the last time I shot it without the suppressor, the scope lightly "bit" my nose. 😂 I bought mine directly from the Nosler website as it had been a "display" or "demo" gun. I have noticed that when the barrel's dirty, the accuracy goes south REALLY quickly. I went on 3 prairie dog hunting trips this year. I gave it a deep clean before the first hunt. I had to give it a second cleaning just before the third hunt when accuracy suddenly went to 2" at 100 yards. 😱I expect you'll be very happy w/ your NCH.
