New Chronograph Out

After watching both of these videos, I am inclined to try the baby LR. Will have to retire the big LR. Love the LR but it is big, and the wind plays hell with it sometimes lol.
The baby LR being built with aluminum can be a factor in my area also. We get a little bit of wind here in Wyoming also. I have been using a bayonet for a few years and it sure beats my old skyscreen Chrony. Three new choices and a month to make up my mind. This is turning into a Seinfeld episode.

I absolutely love my LR LX it's truly amazing. My friend has the Garmin but after shooting behind both I just much prefer the LR LX. I like the construction much better being Aluminum and the screen too, way brighter. Feels much sturdier more robust. Both picked up every shot. But the garmin when it's was windy or a muzzle brake you have to make absolutely sure the blast is nowhere close. He blew his over several times, it's very light.
Side note, I love seeing innovation as it just pushes boundaries and we all get better products.

Having choices is an excellent dilemma to have.

I dumped my old LR for a Garmin because I missed a lot of shots with the old LR. At this point, the Garmin has been absolutely great for me, but I am intrigued by the Caldwells ability to generate BC. I'm curious, for any of you who have used it, does it really accurately give you true BC?

I started my chrono life with an Ohler 35 with the printer and as soon as the LabRadar dust settled I jumped to it. It was awesome until I fell in love with suppressors…then it became very frustrating until I added the remote trigger. Then the Garmin came out, once it's dust settled I switched to that and after one range trip the LR was put up for sale.

I don't regret any of them and at their times all of them were the cream of the crop. I personally have no desire to look at the new LR…the Garmin is that good. Very likely had LR beat Garmin to the market, I'd have the LR and just as happy with it. My 2 cents, worth what you paid.

It worked at first. Then is started missing shots. Did a update and 5 days in a row, it never missed a shot. The next time it started missing alot of shots. I called Midway and explained to them the problem. They paid for shipping back to them and gave me a refund. I bought a Garmin and have NEVER missed a shot.
