Seems like couse is 99% disappointment and 1% dumb luck (archery hunting)
At least we get almost 2 months a year for an over the counter deer tag.

Welcome from northwest Montana. I grew up in AZ and hunting deer in the desert is still one of my favorite things to do. Archery hunting deer down there is some tough stuff, but it's fun, I look forward to going down every year.

Only taken 1 Coues in my life. Drew the tag on by putting down a wrong hunt number on my application. Had no clue what I was looking at (being a muley hunter). Passed him 4 days in a row. Killed him on my last day to hunt in utter disappointment as he was the biggest dink I had seen the whole hunt. Little did I know...
