Here is a pretty little female I called in yesterday morning with a fawn bleat. Gorgeous fur with a white belly. Almost perfect except her guard hairs have to fill in. Came at the 8 minute mark. Didn't come real fast just kind of ambling along. Shot at 124 yards.

Nice pale coyote. It looks like her tail is kinda short. Maybe just the camera angle.
Looks like your Ruger is still getting the job done.
What caliber and load ?
Keep up the good work.

It is the camera angle. 22-250 with 52 grain Hornady BTHP behind 40.0 grains of H380 at about 3600fps.

She looks the size of a smaller sand hills coyote but has the coloration of a Montana pale. I enjoy seeing that coloration a lot better than the rusty red or the darker black of some of the other subspecies. The bigger mountain coyote pictured in smoked this one elk hunting, they will go in the 50 - 70-pound range at times, do sometimes have a good silvery pale coloration in my area but most often it's the reddish or the darker blackish colorations here.
