Smoked this guy during the Elk hunt

How do you know? Have you tried to eat coyote?I get more satisfaction at "smok'n" a coyote @ 300 with my hunting rifle, than an elk at the same distance!
It's a "feel good" thing to remove a coyote, plus they're a much smaller target (well some of my elk have been pretty small) …….though, the elk taste much better!memtb

Way to go!I was breaking in a new hunting rifle during the Elk hunt here in Utah. The elk were a bit harder to find than I'd expected, but this handsome coyote managed to get close enough so I let him have it. For those that might ask, its a Patriot Valley Arms Modus 6.5 PRC
