The reason for the question is I have been getting superb accuracy with 75 grain Berger VLD's and Barnes 62 grain TTSX's and would like to venture into the 80's. I have a limited supply of Superformance, thus the question before going heavier.....
I planed to do that, but was mainly looking to see if anyone has already ventured there. I have a few of the 80 grain JLK's to use, but with them not being made anymore, I was looking to conserve as many as I could. I use their 105's in a 6 Creed with excellent success. You not having very good success with the 80's in a 22 Creed made me even more me nervous to try them due to using them in a fast twist 220 Swift already. I maybe will leave well enough alone with the JLK's in the 22-250 for now....If you're getting superb accuracy with Superformance and 75 Bergers, I'd expect that it would work just as well with an 80gr version.
