Went to hunt elk and got this Beauty Buck

I've scored it twice now since I missed my H4 measurement and I've got 172"gross

I've contacted an official B&C scorer and he's going to score it Monday night to see how far off I was.

So I had a official B & C scorer tape this thing. Me and my son learnt a lot about scoring from This gentleman And it was a great experience to watch.
Now I'll get the proper tools for the next one and I'll trust my numbers the first time.

So this deer is 162" even.

Think about how many people hunt whitetail that never break 130", and that includes 10 pointers and 12 pointers. You not only did that, but you did it with an 8 point.

That's exactly how it was put to me when I shot my 142" 8 point, he's the only shoulder mount I currently have.

This is the biggest one I've ever shot here in PA and it's one of the biggest taken in the area we hunt. Barely breaks 120.
