N565 outruns N165.
Depending on bullet weight and caliber, N565 and RL23 are close for velocity, but N565 takes heavier charge weights. RL23 seems to be better for smaller cases and lighter bullets. N565 like heavier bullets and a bit larger cases/bores.
What I mean by that is:
25SST w. 133 Elite. RL23 should outrun N565. N565 will be compressed, and RL23 still has a bit of room.
6.5PRC. 130-140s will win for speed with RL23. 147-156s will be a toss up.
6.5SAUM w. 140 Hyb. RL23 and N565 will be almost identical for speeds. N565 Will take about 4gr more to get there and probably be a compressed load.
7SAUM wm 180s. N565 should outrun RL23 by a slight margin. Takes more charge weight to do so.
.30-06 w. 175 OTM. RL23 will win this race. N565 will be compressed and run out of case space.
7PRC w. 180s. N565 will outrun RL23. RL23 will probably pressure out.
.300WM w. 215s. N565 is a better choice. RL23 will pressure out too soon in my experience.
