Had a chance to put some rounds through my new rifle. Most parts came from this forum. Did the work myself. Plan is to run 153 HHTs but starting break in with 175 ELDX. Ran a pressure test today and didn't find any yet.

No pressure signs. Have RL26 too. Haven't decided if I want to burn it up though.

I use H1000, way more available. (Just picked up 2 jugs) you may want to keep the RL26 for special somethings. It is no longer available.

My build just didn't seem to like H1000. In my 24" barrel the RL-26 gives me better velocities and accuracy. I had issues with early pressure signs with both powders but have since fixed that with the Alex Wheeler reaming process. Burned through a bunch of components figuring that out. Anyway, headed out next week to run 66 through 67 grains of RL-26 and find the sweet spot. I have a few hunting seasons left of the RL-26 before I have to switch to something else I have on the shelf (StaBall HD, Ramshot Grand, and H1000). Learning is sometimes expensive...

Hi, what is alex wheeler reaming process? Is there a post describing it somewhere or is it secret? It is my understanding that 7prc had issues with initial reamer design and clickers but I have not been following the whole saga.

Can't seem to copy the link but search this thread.
