Nice! I was fortunate that this guy was only 125 yards from where we could get the boat. The guy I was hunting with (DIY hunt) shot his a day later...it ended up 25 yards from the boat.

You don't realize how big these guys are until you walk up to them and get ready to start working!

Nice Moose!!!! Those Alaska Yukon subspecies are a thing to behold!
If it isn't too late to keep the nose, do it! The Natives up there eat it as a delicacy. Singe the hair, cube it, salt and pepper, bake or smoke until juicy tender.

Got him all cleaned up. Just need to apply peroxide. He had a cool antler growth coming out of his forehead.
