What groups for distances?

I read that a 300 H&H Magnum won the 1000yd competition 1935. What groups were being made at

1000yds? How about 750yds? 500 yds?

Competition is constantly improving. I know at the local 1000 yd benchrest club that if you can't sink 10 rounds in 5" range you probably are not going to the shoot offs on given days with descent conditions.
